Description
The Z3-DM8168-MOD module is based upon Texas Instruments DM8168 Netra series processor. It is 88mm x 108mm in size. Supports up to 1.2GHz Cortex A8, 1.0GHz C674x floating point DSP, GigE, USB 2.0, SATA2, PCIe 2.0, HDMI, RS-232 and also includes expansion connectors allowing access to all major interfaces to the DM8168. Available in 512MB DDR3 (Z3-DM8168-MOD-02) or 1GB DDR3 (Z3-DM8168-MOD-22).
The Z3-DM8168-MOD allows ODMs and OEMs to integrate multimedia functions into their product quickly and effortlessly. It can be customized to support a variety of Cortex A8 speed grades. The Z3-DM8168-MOD modules can be built to support AM389x or C6A816X processors. The Z3-DM8168-MOD is plug-in compatible with the Z3-DM8148-MOD.
The Z3-DM8168-MOD is perfect for Video Security, Video Conference, Video Infrastructure and multi-channel Industrial Video applications.
The C6A8168 version is perfect for Industrial Control & Vision, Video Analysis, Test and Measurement, Data Acquisition, Telecommunications, and High Performance Graphics. P
The AM389X is perfect for: Telecommunications, Point of Sale, Portable Data Terminal, Human Machine Interface, and an Integrated Embedded Linux System.
Applications for the Z3-DM8168-MOD include: Broadcast video encoding and decoding, real time transcoding at 1080p60, video security and industrial DVR, medical and industrial video and video conference terminal and MCU.
