Description

The MCK2812 DSP Motion Control Kit is a ready-to-run development/evaluation package. In addition to the MSK2812 DSP Motion Starter Kit, it includes a 50W power module and a brushless motor equipped with Hall sensors and 500-line encoder.

Communication between the PC and DSP is provided by a real-time RS-232 serial comms monitor that is embedded in DSP flash. This provides download/upload functionality as well as debug and inspect facilities. Also included is a graphical motion control evaluation/analysis tool, which allows easy familiarisation with the various peripherals embedded in the F2812 DSP.

The kit also includes the processor evaluation tool, the DMCD-Lite integrated debugger, assembler and linker. The kit also includes demos for AC and DC brushless motor control. All system variables can be visualised in real-time and motion parameters can be customised and downloaded to the DSP, thus speeding the control algorithm optimisation process.

PROCEV28x, a graphical motion control evaluation/analysis software for the specific motor control peripherals embedded in the TMS320F240 DSP, is provided to rapidly familiarize you with these functions. A set of ready-to-run examples (with ASM source code) is included.
