ViSiO IP Encoder and Recorder Reference Design |
The ViSiO is a complete digital audio/video recording and streaming device. It is based on a dual core architecture mixing a Texas Instruments DSP (TMS320DM642) at 600MHz under DSP/BIOS and a Linux based GPP at 400MHz. The DSP is used as a video processing engine using ATEME's MPEG-4 ASP while the CPU handles the Linux-based DVR application (i.e. AAC audio capture and compression and other I/Os management). Includes 12V power supply.
