Video Enhancement and new Pan and Tilt Unit Products from KCL - April 2010

The need for a video motion stabiliser is essential to eliminate the effects of undesired camera motions for operators or analytic software to be able to see a stable image of the live or captured video so they can take appropriate action.

KCL has launced a new real-time motion stabiliser in the UK and Europe to compliment other video enhancement products we sell.

  BullsEye BE1000 Real-Time Motion Stabiliser

BullsEye BE1000 performs low latency video stabilisation of rotational (rolling) motion around an optical axis and also translational (shaking) movement in horizontal and vertical directions on PAL or NTSC live or pre-recorded video data.

The BullsEye BE1000 is a high performance embedded always-on fanless video image processing device, which is low power, low heat and capable of instant on and instant off. As a result, the unit is much more economical to operate and very adaptable to various field operating environments such as deserts to cold places like Northern Canada.

  PX40 Series Contrast Enhancement Products

The PX40PCB provides a board level solution as an alternative to the PX50 boxed solution in applications such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and portable or mobile systems. Its exceptionally small form factor (5 x 7.5cm), low power consumption and rugged design make it ideal for use in systems where size and power constraints preclude the use of box level components. The PX40PCB is designed to operate over an ambient temperature range of -40 degrees to +85 degrees Celsius and is resistant to shock and vibration, making it an ideal choice for image processing in extreme environments.
