Updated DSK-Inet Internet Interface for DSKs |
The DSK-INET daughter card from Bitec brings fast, simple internet connectivity to DSK based projects. Based on the lates Wiznet W5300 high performance embedded internet controller, the DSK-INET removes the need for a software TCP/IP stack running in the DSP. An API based on standard Berkley Sockets uses a minimal set of instructions to integrate the W5300 seamlessly into the DSP/BIOS kernel. |

IPNetwork Camera (IPNC) reference designs based on DM355 |
The base DM355 IPNC reference design supports HD at 1.3 megapixels and leverages CMOS sensor technologies from Aptima. The wide dynamic range version (WDR) IPNC reference design uses TI TC922 WDR CMOS imager for high light/low light performance. |

| |
DM357 ARM based processor with H.264 codec |
The DM357 is a low cost, ARM based processor that includes a royalty free H.264 codec at D1 resolution for video compression, as well as MPEG-4, JPEG and G.711 codecs. With carefully selected peripherals, low cost consumer video products can be developed quickly

IPNetwork Camera (IPNC) reference designs based on DM365 |
The new DM365 digital media processor provides pixel perfect images with HD video up to 1080p. Unlike other processors available on the market, the ARM9-based DM365 device offers production-qualified H.264, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MJPEG and VC1 codecs providing customers with the video flexibility to select the right format for their application. By offering to the mass market as part of the TI’s DaVinci technology portfolio of products, DM365 has the opportunity to reach new segments within the digital video market. |

Hand coded Maths and Signal Libraries for TI DSPs |
Two very fast DSP libraries are available from KCL.
NatureDSP Math library offers accurate fixed point implementation of general purpose maths functions used in every DSP algorithm. It utilises 100% of fixed point DSPs capabilities requiring minimum CPU cycles. The NatureDSP Math library is useful for signal processing algorithms developers and digital communication system designers.
NatureDSP Signal library is a collection of signal processing routines needed for implementation of typical algorithms for voice/audio processing. Special memory management optimises performance and allows designers to utilise efficiently cache or DARAM/SARAM spaces and place most memory consuming blocks into the slow memory. Unique 'filter-on-the-fly' feature enables fast filter synthesis in real time. |

Low latency MPEG2 codec for DM644x DSPs |
Ittiam Systems introduces LLS, an off-the-shelf digital video server and client system based on MPEG2 and TMS320DM644x for latency sensitive applications.
LLS provides less than 150ms end to end latency (excludes any network transmission latency), support for both NTSC and PAL systems, streaming with MPEG-2 Transport Stream over RTP or UDP and low latency transmission rate control algorithms for strict CBR over the transmission channel.

ICE: Ittiam Codec Integration Environment demonstrator |
This demo package consists of a GUI on the PC to configure and visualise the result of the Ittiam coding library. The only material you need is a TI EVM, a PC running Windows, A/V cables and video source for live tests.
|
|
| The ICE demo can be used with TI DM644x and DM646x EVMs to evaluate: |
DM644x
- H.264 BP Encoder up to SD
- H.264 MP Encoder up to SD
- MPEG-4 SP and ASP up to SD
- MPEG-2 Encoder up to SD
|
DM646x
- MPEG-2 Encoder up to 1080p
- H.264 MP Encoder up to 1080p
|
If you have an EVM and want to try the Ittiam codecs through the ICE demo, please contact KCL.
