KCL has joined the UKIVA again, after a few years concentrating on Video Security and Broadcast Video applications. Recent relationships have increased the products that KCL sell that relate to manufacturing, medical and scientific markets and we saw the advantage of the UKIVA support.

To assist customers to quickly check video products from KCL for manufacturing, medical, broadcast, security and scientific markets, we have created an overview.

Silicon Imaging have announced a number of software products that support their high performance, megapixel cameras.
MegaXV USB 2.0 MegaCamera Software and SDK provides a range of features to support control of USB 2.0 cameras.
SI INSPECT Automation Manager Software supports machine vision inspection, motion control and SPC, using Silicon Imaging SI-USB 2.5MB camera with epix framegrabber and Microsoft Installer.
VisionGauge is a powerful and easy to use software package that lets you capture, manipulate, analyse, store and output images and data. You can also use it to carry out reliable and repeatable high precision measurements, to compute measurement statistics and for counting and sizing operations.

This product is ideal for airborne or on the move applications, recording 2 HDTV or GigE vision cameras simultaneously with StreamPix4 or Cineform compression or one camera in uncompressed format.

StreamPix4 now supports direct acquisition to Apple QuickTime .mov files.

Supports GigE, FireWire or CameraLink cameras to provide long duration recording using JPEG compression.

Record from 8 GigE cameras simultaneously on a single computer. Image resolution for each camera is 4872 x 3248 x 8-bits x 3.34 frames per second. All cameras synchronised.

NorPix introduces support for the Basler A406K camera supported with the Bitflow Karbon framegrabber. Acquire to RAM or disk at 2320 x 1726 x 209 frames per second.
