IPNetCam is based on Texas Instruments DM6446 DaVinci™ technology, fully enabled for intelligent surveillance applications with object detection and classification based on ObjectVideo content analytics.

IPNetCam supports three compression formats H.264, MPEG4 and JPEG, supporting dual mode encoding and triple streaming.

IPNetCam also supports the well established ObjectVideo OnBoard video content analysis software.

The Alarity IP Camera Reference Design used Nexperia PNX-1502/ PNX-1702 media processors for video and audio encoding. The Reference Design comes with source code of ‘example’ applications showing video encoding and streaming, HTTP server, hardware reference board with attached camera module, MPEG4 video encoder, G.726 audio encoder, user guides, schematics, bill of materials and gerber files. JPEG still image encoding and AAC and G.711 encoders can be used but not included.
