PTU-D300-EX High Torque Pan and Tilt Unit
PTU-D48 Small IP67 Pan and Tilt Unit
We are pleased to release preliminary information on a new PTU-D48 model. This exciting model is very small (<10lbs) while handling payloads over 15lbs. It is extremely rugged, includes an IP67 rating, and is suitable for vehicle and other harsh environment applications. The PTU-D48 is expected to be available to order starting in April/May. Inertial Stabilisation for D100 and D300 Pan and Tilt Units
The Inertial-Stabilisation Module (ISM) is a modular sensor processing unit that adds stabilised line-of-site (LOS) pointing capability to Directed Perception Pan and Tilt Units (PTU). The ISM enables stabilised pointing of video cameras, lasers, spotlights, antennas and other payloads. It allows steady aiming during boat, vehicle or tower motion due to wind, waves or terrain. Lightning RDT High Speed Camera
The Lighting® RDTPlus™ features extended recording times to capture long duration events such as vehicle rollovers and missile flights. More than 13 seconds of full resolution recording at 5000 fps are available without compression. Greater than one minute of record time can be achieved by reducing the frame rate to 1000 fps. Real Time Video Compression using Cineform Codec
NorPix announces support for the high-performance Cineform codec, now offered in both its StreamPix image acquisition software and the Hermes API. The Cineform codec provides high compression in real-time during live acquisition of image streams, with no degradation of Bayer pattern. StreamPix3 and Cineform Codec for HDTV Cameras
Want to record from single or 2 HDTV cameras simultaneously without spending tens of thousands of dollars? Using StreamPix3 and the new support for the Cineform codec, you can record one HDTV stream directly on a 2.4GHz laptop either to the hard disk or even to a USB memory stick connected to the laptop. If your requirement is for recording from 2 HDTV cameras, then use StreamPix4 with a Quad Core desktop and the Cineform codec to record directly to disk. Acquire in real time in compressed mode on the Toshiba IK-HD1 1080i 3CDD camera using StreamPix3 and the Cineform compression codec. No need to carry a big disk array system to acquire from this new camera. By using the new Cineform compression codec with StreamPix, you can acquire in real time at 1920 x 1080 x 30 fps x RGB to disk using a Quad Core machine and a single hard drive.
