Description

These stackable daughter cards plug into the TI and Spectrum Digital DSK DSP Development Systems and provide up to four additional UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) Serial Communication Ports (hardware or software), with RS-232-C or RS-422 interfaces, and configured as both a DTE (Data Terminal Equipment) and a DCE (Data Communication Equipment). The UART’s are high speed and all ports are full duplex.

These daughter cards conform to the Texas Instruments TMS320 Cross-Platform Daughter Card Specification for TI DSK and EVM Development Systems. A DB-9, male-female cable is shipped with each daughter card.
