Description

The SignalMaster Dual cPCI development board is specifically designed to help develop and test DSP algorithms through its combination of FPGA and DSP devices. It comes with a complete board software development kit to reach development goals quickly and efficiently. With the SignalMaster Dual it is also possible to simultaneously design and test in a real-time environment through the board’s integration to the model-based design software tools for Simulink.

The SignalMaster Dual is designed around a cluster of one Virtex-4 LX FPGA and two TMS320C6416 DSPs, yielding up to 16,000 MIPS/MMACS of DSP processing power and 40 GMACS of FPGA-based DSP processing power — unrivalled might at your fingertips.

The front-panel RapidCHANNEL RX/TX ports provide inter-board communication with various Lyrtech platforms through their full-duplex, sustained 8-Gbps raw data exchange capabilities. High-speed LYRIO+ add-on modules can be attached through the SignalMaster Dual’s ultra-high-bandwidth LYRIO+ interface, which is capable of sustained, full-duplex raw data exchanges of 12 Gbps.
