Description
Designed to fully integrate with StreamPix 5, StreamPix Remote offers users the ability to remotely access StreamPix 5 workstations and not only monitor multiple cameras in real-time, but also fully control the application in order to review previously recorded sequences. Best of all, StreamPix Remote makes use of the same intuitive ribbon-based interface as StreamPix 5, making it simple for users to move from one application to the other.
StreamPix Remote can access either a single remote StreamPix 5 workspace or control many different StreamPix 5 applications running on a single computer. It can also make as many simultaneous connections as there are installations in a facility, using a network in order to link to each individual machine. This latter functionality enables users to pull together multiple video sequences from various cameras regardless of their type of frame rate.
StreamPix Remote users have access to the entire functionality of StreamPix 5 on each remote workspace. Given that some high speed digital video feeds can be bandwidth intensive, the software allows for operators to resize the width and height of each video image up to eight times in order to improve transfer speeds. This can be done manually, or StreamPix Remote can automatically select which value will allow for the best balance between transfer speed and quality.
