Description

The PX40P provides a solution to real-time video image-processing needs in applications such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and portable or mobile systems. Its exceptionally small form-factor (5 x 7.5cm), low power-consumption, and rugged design make it ideal for use in systems where size and power constraints preclude the use of box-level components. The PX40P is designed to operate over an ambient temperature range of –40 to +85 degrees Celsius and is resistant to shock and vibration, making it an ideal choice for image processing in extreme environments.

Utilizing an ARM-9 RISC processor and DSP, the PX40P accepts NTSC or PAL composite video and runs a suite of imaging algorithms for reducing the effects of haze and smoke, improving contrast, reducing noise, deblurring, and other imageenhancement functions. An embedded Linux operating system and multiple interface ports make the PX40PCB easy to interface to for local or remote control.

Ordering Options

• PX40PCB: A business card size board which can operate 5 different software programes, one at a time including: dehazing/defogging, low light, day/night, IR and noise reduction.
• PX40P (Pod): The PX40P is a smaller and better version of the PX50P (discontinued model). NTSC/PAL supported, various power supply options (USB with PC, A/C, Batteries – 7 – 36V), low power – 5V.
• PX40P-Mini: The smaller version of the PX40P with limited connectors and other hardware options .
